Muscle Testing
ThetaHealing requires the use of muscle testing during the session.  You will get more out of the session if you actively participate by doing the muscle testing yourself.  If you are unable to do the muscle testing physically or try and just can't get it, I can do surrogate testing for you.  Below are instructions for muscle testing if you want to try to do it before the session so that we can spend more time on the healing session.  Or I can teach you how at the beginning of the session.

Whenever you say or think something that resonates as true with the subconscious mind, the electrical and magnetic fields around the body actually become stronger and as a result the muscles also become stronger.

Similarly, when you say or think something that resonates as false with the subconscious mind, the electrical and magnetic fields around the body actually become weaker and as a result the muscles also become weaker!

For example, if you say, "My name is Jan," which it is, this registers true in your subconscious, and your muscles and field will be strong.

If you say, "My name is Sam," which it is not, this registers as false with your subconscious, and your muscles and field will be weak.



The two easiest methods to learn is the standing method and the finger ring method.  The fastest to learn is the standing method, while the finger ring method is faster when testing.  I use the finger ring test, but it does take more practice to get accurate results than the standing test.

For either test, make sure you are well hydrated.  If not able to get either test working, try to drink some water, and sometimes you need to take some minerals or a little sea salt in water.

The Standing Test:   Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, facing north, in a balanced, neutral position , arms at your sides. Make sure you are standing very tall, with no bend in your knees and your head and shoulders held high but comfortable (no straining!). Zip up your field.  To zip up your field, put your arm straight down at your side and then swing arm to the midline of your body.  Then pull you hand straight up your body and up over your head.  To test, say "YES" - you should feel yourself tilting forward. Next, rebalance yourself, and say "NO" - you should feel yourself tilting backwards. Your body is like a pendulum.  If you don't get it right away, continue doing it, and you should notice that you will start seeing a slight movement at first.  As you practice, it will become bigger.  Just relax.  It's not about control.  It's about relaxing and allowing.

Finger Ring Method: 
Sit in a relaxed, comfortable position. Make a ring with your thumb and one of your fingers (different people like to use different fingers; generally the pinky finger/thumb ring is the weakest, and the index finger/thumb ring is the strongest.) Hold the ring together, and say "YES" as you use the index finger on your other hand to pull through the ring - the ring should stay intact. Hold the ring together, and say "NO" as you use the index finger on your other hand to pull through the ring - the ring should break and let your finger pull through.  It takes practice to find the right tightness to hold it to give you an accurate result.  I find you want to hold it with the lightest amount of pressure you can to get have it stay together for a yes. This is one that you will have to practice sometimes for a few weeks to get it right.  When you're sitting somewhere waiting or watching TV, just sit and practice.  It's much faster and easier if you are willing to invest the time.
